Notary Public
Notary Public
[600001]
This seminar prepares individuals for the New York State Notary Public Examination, and provides a comprehensive view of the notary public office, including the extent of authority the position holds, as well as its duties and responsibilities. Case studies are used to illuminate situations that the officer is likely to encounter such as avoiding conflict of interest, maintaining professional ehtics, charging proper fees, the handling of special situations, minimizing legal liability and much more. After taking this course the office of notary public will be demystified as its confusing laws, concepts and procedures are clarified. Simply passing the required exam does not prepare a candidate for the office of notary public. This course does.
