Registration

Please read the following information carefully before completing John Jay College of Criminal Justice Continuing Education's Registration Form.

Things You Should Know

Transfers/Credits/Refunds. If you cannot attend a course as planned and you notify the Office of Continuing Education three (3) days prior to the first class meeting, you may receive either a full refund or a Continuing Education class credit (Electronic Voucher). Credits may be applied toward the cost of any future John Jay College Continuing Education course within the next year from date of issue. If you contact the Office before the second class meeting (does not apply to courses meeting for 4 sessions or less), you are entitled to either a 50% refund or a class credit valued at 50% of the course fee (excluding the registration fee). If John Jay College cancels a class, a full refund is given. Refunds are processed the last day of the month - Sorry, no exceptions. The Continuing Education Program reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, and instructors when necessary. The College is pleased to welcome and admit students 18 years of age and over (19 years of age for GED testing) of any race, color, religion, or national and ethnic origin to all classes. Students under 18 will be permitted only with prior consent of the instructor and staff.

Inclement Weather. John Jay College Continuing Education Program will not issue refunds for classes which have been postponed due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to reschedule such classes.


Where Classes Meet

Classes will meet in one of four John Jay College buildings (North Hall, Haaren Hall, BMW and Westport Building) all of which are located in the vicinity of W. 59th Street and 10th Avenue. Specific directions are sent with your course confirmation tickets.

  1. In person : To register in person, come to our office at 555 West 57th Street (at 11th Avenue), 6th Floor, Suite 602, New York, NY 10019. Our office is open Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

  2. By mail: Send your check, money order, or charge account information and a completed registration form to: John Jay College of Criminal Justice Continuing Education Program, 555 West 57th Street, Suite 602, New York, NY 10019.

  3. By phone: Use your Visa/MC/AMEX to register by calling (212) 237-8663, during our office hours indicated above.

  4. By fax: Fax the completed registration form with your Visa/MC/AMEX card information to (212) 237-8609.

  5. On the internet : You can register at John Jay College Continuing Education's website by clicking on this link www.jjay.cuny.edu/ce. Please remember to read the "Things You Should know" section, above, before proceeding. If you have any questions, email us.
